Employee Assistance Programme

We are pleased to provide an additional benefit to enhance and add value to our Group Life Product:

The Risk Assurance Management Employee Assistance Programme is provided by Health Assured. The service provides unlimited access to comprehensive telephone helplines available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, answered by BACP qualified counsellors. It offers practical information and emotional support in a safe, secure and confidential environment. Members and/or their immediate family can call for help in the below areas:

  • Counselling and emotional support
  • Family issues
  • Bereavement
  • Trauma
  • Relationship issues
  • Stress related conditions
  • Tax information
  • Medical information
  • Money management and debt support
  • Wills, Grant of Probate and Inheritance advice and help

Also included is the Health e-hub app and online portal through Health assured.

The helpline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It offers confidential support for both members and their family.

This benefit is completely FREE of charge; our Group Life rates remain unaffected.

Alongside this EAP, there is an upgrade option which can can be bought for the whole scheme (not individual members). The cost is £4.95 +VAT per member per year and includes all of the above plus the below:

  • Up to eight structured telephone counselling sessions, per issue, per year for the employee, partner or spouse and dependents (between the ages of 16-24 in full time education).
  • Up to eight face to face counselling sessions, per issue, per year for the employee including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
